Predict phenotypic clusters in heart failure with preserved ejection fraction
Phenogroup 1: Younger patients with fewer comorbidities
Phenogroup 2: Intermediate phenotype
Phenogroup 3: Older patients with more comorbidities
Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) is a heterogeneous syndrome. Phenomapping is a novel approach that uses machine learning to identify distinct subgroups of patients based on clinical, laboratory, and imaging data.
The phenogroups identified in this model represent different pathophysiological patterns and may have implications for targeted therapies and clinical outcomes.
The above calculator provides an approximation of the phenomapping clusters defined by Segar et al.
